South Tyrolean quality products
At the Gnollhof, we use local produce as far as possible. Whether for the breakfast buffet, a light lunch or in the evening, we use Nature’s best from South Tyrol such as fresh herbs, seasonal fruits or regional specialities to add that special touch to your stay with us.
South Tyrolean speck is lightly smoked raw ham. The art of speck production is handed down from generation to generation, while the seasoning recipe is a closely guarded secret. We get our speck from Ploner the butcher in Lajen.
Bread from the Hofer bakery in Klausen is baked from the finest grain according to traditional methods. It contains only natural ingredients such as flour, water, salt, yeast, sourdough and seasonings: preservatives and other additives are taboo.
We serve only genuine South Tyrolean honey, characterised by its wide variety of tastes. Our beekeeper ensures appropriate, careful processing of the honey which is a natural product, rich in active substances and additive-free.
The naturally cloudy apple juice from our farm is light on the palate and contains few calories. We only use hand-picked apples from our own orchards for this healthy natural drink, which is rich in dextrose and fructose, mineral compounds and salts, with no added sugars, water or preservatives.
